MEET TY
Kansas Roots
Ty was born and raised in Butler County, and he never left. He has spent decades there raising a family, building businesses, and showing up for his neighbors. Kansas made him who he is, and he has spent his life giving back to the place he grew up.
More than twenty years ago, Ty looked at the direction his community was going, the same community that had given him and his family so much, and decided he wasn’t going to sit on the sidelines. He ran for local office in Andover and won, and he hasn’t stopped working to make Kansas a better place since.
Family and Faith
Ty and his wife, Marlo, have been married for 30 years. Together, they have six children and seven grandchildren (and counting!), and their faith shapes every decision they make. That family is the reason Ty is running. He wants a Kansas where your children and grandchildren can afford to stay, build a life, and call home.
Proven Leader
In Topeka, Ty doesn't talk about results: he delivers them. As President of the Kansas Senate, he led the fight for $2 billion in tax cuts, the largest in Kansas history, and took on the special interests and bureaucrats who said it couldn't be done. He has fought for lower taxes, safer streets, and a government that answers to the people who pay for it.
The Kansas our Grandkids inherit gets decided now. Ty is fighting for a state where working families can afford to live, communities are strong, and your future is built right here.
Conservative Leadership. Kansas Priorities.
Ty has one measure for every decision: does it make life better for the people who actually live here? That's why he's taking on the biggest bills squeezing Kansas families.
The Homeowners Bill of Rights: Protecting homeowners from runaway property taxes, giving taxpayers a stronger voice, and helping Kansas families afford to stay in the communities they love.
The Kansas Ratepayer Protection Pledge: Protecting families, farms, schools, hospitals, and small businesses from being stuck with higher costs created by powerful outside interests.
